// SYNOPSIS

Nearly a decade after The Terminator, two cyborgs arrive from 2029. One — a T-800 Model 101 (Schwarzenegger) — is reprogrammed to protect the young John Connor. The other — a T-1000 (Patrick) made of liquid metal — is an advanced prototype sent to kill him. Sarah Connor (Hamilton), now a hardened warrior, must unite with the machine she once feared to prevent the nuclear holocaust known as Judgment Day and destroy Cyberdyne Systems before Skynet is born.

// CRITICAL RESPONSE

"A thrilling blend of spectacular action, groundbreaking visual effects, and genuine emotional weight. Cameron raises the stakes in every conceivable way."

Roger Ebert, Chicago Sun-Times ★★★★

"The greatest action sequel ever made. Revolutionary CGI that still holds up decades later, paired with a story that has real soul."

Empire Magazine ★★★★★

"A relentless, pulse-pounding masterpiece. The T-1000 remains one of cinema's most terrifying and iconic villains."
